Experience a Mabel Lake yoga retreat to rejuvenate and revitalize your body and mind. Enjoy a four day/three night luxurious weekend of yoga, meditation, massage and clean eating to promote healing, relaxation and personal discovery. Relax in sumptuous accommodation at the Water's Edge Lodge, located on the cliff side of pristine Mabel Lake just one hour drive from Vernon in BC's beautiful Okanagan Valley.

Each Mabel Lake yoga retreat is an all-inclusive experience. Enjoy morning and evening yoga sessions for a total of six sessions during your stay. Practice on an expansive deck suspended over the lake with sweeping views.

All meals are prepared by an on-site chef, serving vegetarian clean eating at its finest. Included on the second or third day is a one hour relaxing full body massage with additional spa services available upon request.

At the Water's Edge Lodge experiences you can enjoy include hiking the trails, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and a refreshing outdoor shower. Enjoy a contemplative journey through the forest trails or a cleansing dip in the lake before retiring for a lazy doze or some quiet reading.

Chef Andrea Schiller has travelled many roads but shines when following her passion for creating and sharing sublime, nourishing, mostly vegetarian meals.  Her creative expression in the kitchen, using the most wholesome, natural ingredients in the tastiest way possible means clients experience healthy foods in entirely new ways. Conscious of meeting a range of dietary needs, Andrea pushes the boundaries of vegan, raw, paleo, gluten-free and other diets, combining flavours and textures to capture the senses.  Whether preparing clean meals for a family or catering a yoga retreat, swinging a hammer or teaching young adults with special needs, she believes healthy individuals create healthy communities.

Lisa Dumas

Lisa came to yoga close to a decade ago seeking respite from chronic anxiety and life altering panic attacks. She received near immediate relief through a newfound connection with the breath and the body that awakened a life affirming sense of being. The practices of yoga and meditation have the power to calm our minds, energize our bodies and lead us into the present moment, the only place life exists. From there, the possibilities are endless. Whether it is peace, strength, flexibility of the body and mind, or physical or emotional healing we seek, yoga can help show us the way.

Because of the gifts it provided her, Lisa left a career as a radio broadcaster to share the transformational power of yoga with others. As a teacher, she creates opportunities for practitioners to create their own meaningful experiences through strong, sumptuous and thoughtful physical sequences modified to suit, combined with accessibly delivered philosophy and themes to inspire and uplift. Lisa is passionate about being a teacher and student of yoga and grateful for the continued lessons, insights and love it brings to her life.

Sommelier Alicia Bodaly's Bio

Raised by parents who valued food enough to leave the city to Alicia 44AF5674-4406-49D9-B2FE-A0348B45FC4Ehave enough land to garden, Alicia’s passion for food came from the roots and evolved to a career in food. From 2009 to 2015, Alicia was the managing partner of an award winning, locally sourced restaurant in the Fraser Valley. Alicia regularly led wine and spirits tasting events and the wine program was awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence each year uner her leadership.

Over the last year, Alicia has moved to a quieter life in the Kootenays. She shares her time with her new home in Kimberley and the backcountry ski lodges she cooks at in the winter.  Alicia is excited to bring her passion for food, flavours and wine to Mabel Lake. Taking time from our everyday lives to taste, to breathe and to be in nature resinates deeply.
